Our main aim for 2010 is to establish toilets and a water supply to the School at Kantolomba Village, as well as a kitchen and administration building. In 2011 the aim is to raise money to build two more class rooms.

We will also be having fundraisers for organizations in Cambodia as well as Mission Australia and World Vision.

Proudly supporting the Kantolomba Village Project, an initiative of Swan Missions.

Between Thursday 9 and Monday 13 September 2010, Swan Christian College has invited a select group of students and adults to ride from Albany to Perth in support of our College Fundraiser to educate and feed underprivileged children in the village of Kantolomba in Ndola, Zambia.

We would like to give you the opportunity to support this event. The exciting part of this trip is that we have a series of experienced riders who have quickly put up their hand (strapped on their cleats) and offered to come and assist with the ride, this includes a number of Ironmen, the editor of the 220 Triathlon Australia Magazine (a very experienced rider) and a number of doctors from a Perth Hospital (all experienced riders). We couldn't ask for a stronger team of people to support these students.

From a student perspective, we are asking them to seek sponsorship for the 619km to the amount of $2 per km from school pastoral care classes, church groups, Rotary clubs and individuals etc. All sponsorship will go directly to the Kantolomba project. We are looking forward to this event as it provides us all with an opportunity to serve others in tangible ways. If you would like to make a donation or sponsor a rider on this trip please visit everydayhero or contact Swan Christian College on 93748300.

We appreciate your help as you encourage our riders through supporting this worthwhile cause.
